A personal credit line combines the flexibility of an overdraft with the convenience of a personal instalment loan. It works just like a credit card, allowing you to obtain cash whenever you need it, with the option to repay a low minimum amount every month. Since the loan is a revolving credit line, you will never need to top-up your loan again. A personal credit line provides the following:
Benefits and Features
- Generous loan limit
Enjoy loan limit of up to 12 times your monthly gross income. This means that your loan limit increases as your income grows!
- Flexible payment options
With personal credit line, you can withdraw and repay the funds anytime and enjoy the flexibility of a revolving loan.
You only need to repay a minimum of 1.8% of the outstanding balance each month.
An automatic payment system will be set up, for either type of loan, so you will never miss a payment. Simply specify your salary account to be used for the repayment and we will do the rest.
- Flexible Repayment Period
As this is a revolving personal loan, it will only expire when you turn 49 years old. As such, you can use it repeatedly without having to reapply every time.
- Efficient and speedy approval
You need to apply only once and it will be available for you to use at any time you deem necessary. Approval can be obtained in less than 3 working days.
- Interest
Interest is charged only on the amount utilised. It works like a credit card and as such, the amount you pay each month will increase or decrease depending on your outstanding balance.
- Easy access
Your funds are made available to you via a variety of means:
• Cheques (for current accountholders)
• HSBC counters
• Transfers through our phone banking service
