Eligibility

Requirement for students are:

• Brunei citizens or permanent residents aged between 18 and 54 years old
  
• Enrolled in any recognized educational institution registered in Negara Brunei Darussalam.
  
• A guarantor who earns a minimum gross monthly salary of BND750 paid to an HSBC account and is aged between 18 and 54
  years old
  
• Allowance credited to an HSBC account

Requirements for others are:

• Local with minimum gross monthly salary of BND750


• Working for Brunei Government, Brunei Shell Petroleum, semi-government, private sector, and corporate Employee Privilege
  Scheme (CEPS) employees


• Salary credited to an HSBC account

Basic documentation requirements

For Students:

• Identification card and student ID (if any)


• Latest Bank statement


• Letter of confirmation of enrolment at college/university


• Guarantor's identification card


• Guarantor's latest salary slip


• Guarantor's latest bank statement


• An invoice/quotation that includes the computer details from the computer vendor


For Others:


• Identity card


• Salary confirmation letter or employment confirmation letter


• Copy of offer letter from Employer*


• Latest salary slip


• Latest bank statement


• An invoice/quotation that includes the computer details from the computer vendor.

    *For Brunei Government daily paid & those employed less than 24 months.

Fees & charges^

• One-time arrangement fee BND300


• Stamp duty BND1.10


• Cashier's order fee BND20 (imposed for making payment to the vendor)


^ For students, all fees are waived, with the exception of the stamp duty.
