 How do I apply for HSBC Advance?

If you are already an existing HSBC customer, you can simply join HSBC Advance online here. For new HSBC customers, you are welcome to visit any HSBC branch.  What do I need to be eligible?

Salary based

  • You qualify for HSBC Advance if your minimum gross salary is BND2,000 with a Total Relationship Balance (TRB) of BND10,000 or more. This includes your deposits, investments and asset products (excluding cards).

Deposit based

  • You qualify for HSBC Advance if you have an Average Credit Balance (ACB) of BND50,000 or more. This includes deposits and investments.

Below Balance Fee
A monthly service fee of BND$15 monthly is chargeable if balance falls below Total Relationship Balance (TRB)

  • Salary based : TRB falls below BND$10,000
  • Deposit based : TRB falls below BND$50,000

 Why does HSBC want to rename its "PowerVantage Plus Account" to "Advance Account"?

HSBC is launching HSBC Advance worldwide in an effort to bring its extensive banking services in line with international trends. By moving to HSBC Advance, your rights and privileges under the original "PowerVantage Plus" will not be affected but will greatly improve to include even more exclusive preferential services and offerings.
